My clock is behind everyone else’s by ten minutes.

Which totally weirds me out because I used to be in sync with everyone. What happened?

March 9, 2010: Day 1 of my annual shape-up-for-summer diet program. YAY.

Okay fine, so I failed terribly today. Only thing I did okay was drink tea before sleeping. Tomorrow, I must try harder! (Also, must blog about this more specifically so I can track my progress.)

Me and my first ever pair of contacts! I feel like a kid again, because I have had bad eyesight (and eyeglasses, boo) since first grade. Kindly pardon my face because I just got home from an hour of playing basketball under the scorching midday sun. I need a bath!

Spent this lovely friday with even lovelier people.

First: Manned our fundraising booth BY MYSELF because we ran out of those paper plate things for the siomai we were selling. Barely a minute has passed since my classmate left me when everyone, and I mean everyone, from seventh grade to eleventh came running down to the canteen (and passing oh so conveniently by our booth). It was crazy fun! I was putting siomai on paper plate… things, putting siomai in the steamer, slicing calamansi into halves, keep track of orders, and… well, you get the idea.

Second: Let me tell you something about myself: I CANNOT STAND THE SUN. And I was under it for around two hours earlier! Oh well, it was worth it since my team won (HELLO FINALS!!!). I totally felt like passing out but Nestea revived me, thank goodness.

Third: Nicole and I hit the arcade right after dismissal. We spent an hour and a half with Geneca and Jeremy, who I bumped into at Petit Monde, playing DDR and shooting hoops. First time I scored 93 points in one go! I rightly fell on my knees afterwards.

Fourth: Saw Lemuel and Moses at Proline just as the four of us were en route to the nearest exit. I bought a basketball, err, ball so we can all practice shooting prior to the 2-ball. Also, bought 2.2lb wrist weights. YAY! Still wearing them now, actually. Will take Alaxan in the morning to ward off pain.

Fifth: Lemuel and Moses ended up going with the us to my house. We shot a couple of hoops at the basketball court, then had pizza at my place while watching random stuff on Velvet. (I couldn’t find Star World, hence wasn’t able to catch the premiere of Castle’s second season. I fail.)

Sixth: Still watching Castle, even though I have class at 8am tomorrow. Internet’s a really big pain tonight, s’why I can’t log on to YM. Sorry friends. Anyway, good night!

I think about people a lot.

In math equations…

a is equal to b, therefore ac = bc; Elene and Michelle are alike, so there’s a huge possibility that Bryan might also develop a crush on Michelle.

ERROR: First statement’s a fact. Now, you can’t deny that the second one’s got a point but it still has a very good chance (fifty percent!) of failing.

In colors…

Complementary colors are opposite each other on the color wheel, therefore, since Tara is a nerd and Philip is… well, not the brightest of people, they’d definitely like each other.

ERROR: Yeah, well people are not colors. Sometimes, opposites just end up bringing out the worst in their partners and ultimately break up to seek people who they would be able to “relate with” better.

And, well, the point is, I’ve been relating with people for seventeen years now. You think I should have had this people thing at least partially mastered or something. But for once, maybe I should try thinking of people as actual human beings. Not numbers, colors, or what have you.

SO THIS IS WHY!! I’ve been wondering for the longest time WHY OH WHY OH WHYYYY I just don’t get everyone else around me… and then suddenly, I’ll find out that someone I’m really close to is left-handed. LOL, SO FUNNY! This is why we have our own holiday! WE ROCK!

STORY OF MY LIFE.

WE ROCK!

For me, 2010 begins tomorrow.

Mostly because I spent January doing stuff I should have done last year. Hahaha. Also, because I was actually busy being merry during the holidays, I was never able to write down my resolutions.

1. Never be late. I mean it.
2. Instead of buying dessert and/or snacks, save the money. I’m serious, self. You are not getting thinner.
3. Stop buying clothes online. Get your butt into that store! Remember: Salesladies are people too. They won’t bite you, okay?
4. 2010 is the year I go back to sports. I want to take badminton seriously, and maybe play soccer and/or taekwondo again if my parents allow me.
5. Spend less time on the internet. (also synonymous to “Actually live.”)
6. Be more hands-on when it comes to my cosplays.
7. Finish at least one book a week.
8. Keep your friends now. Whatever it takes, keep them.
9. Start blogging again. Or at least keep a journal.
10. I only remembered now, thanks to re-reading this list, but before my first day as an Atenean, I wish to be 20 lbs. lighter.
11. Be active in church. Specifically, attend a “church thing” at least twice a week.
12. KEEP ROOM NEAT AND CLEAN AT ALL TIMES. HOORAH!
13. Get over insecurity and trust issues. I am fearfully and wonderfully made!
14. Spend less time asleep. Reality will always be better than dreams.

Aaaaand that’s it! Off the top of my head so I don’t know if I’m going to add more later. If you have anything to add, just tell me, okay?

Just got home from the mall today. Dad bought antibiotics, which I have to take 3 times a day for a week, to ease the swelling of my newly-pierced ear. Also, he bought me black leather chucks! Cannot wait to wear time!

I sort of modeled for a shoot today.

It was my first time and although, yes, I was with awesome people who are awesomer friends, I didn’t really enjoy it because I was too embarrassed. The idea of modelling is really lovely and all, but I guess I’m just not cut out for the job. Oh well.
